Acconeer receives order from Digi-Key worth USD 52 000

By

The order relates to Acconeer's coming XM132 Entry Module and the related evaluation kit (EVK) XE132. The Entry Module, XM132, will be power and cost-efficient with optimized performance for a range of pre-defined use cases requiring low processing power and a small memory. As previously announced, the XM132 will be released during the second half of 2020.

Lars Lindell, CEO Acconeer, comments: "Since we launched the A1 sensor, many of our customers have requested a module equipped with and ARM Cortex M0 processor, which is the cheapest segment of ARM's processor range. Just like our already existing modules, the XM112 High-Performance Module and XM122 IoT Module, the XM132 is based on the A1 radar sensor and intended to make it easy for customers to evaluate and implement radar-based use cases."

With an integration-ready design where the A1 radar sensor is combined with an ARM Cortex M0 microcontroller unit (MCU), the XM132 Entry Module enables radar-based use cases with ultra-low power consumption at an outstanding system cost. To optimize performance, the module will be provided with software tailored for specific use cases. This way, performance requirements can be met at a more efficient cost for customers implementing these selected use cases.
