Acconeer’s addressable market grows as Brazil updates regulation

The Brazilian National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) has introduced a significant update of their regulation for use of the radio spectrum. The updates, effective April 6 2026, introduces specific provisions for pulsed radar aligned with the rules set up by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US.  

This update means that Acconeer’s addressable market in Brazil expands. Acconeer is in a good position with local sales representation already in place in Brazil and a strong interest from Brazilian companies.
