Join Our Team: Senior Algorithm developer shaping the future of intelligent low power radar

Come take part in the radar revolution and take on new opportunities to make everyday life safer and smarter! You’ll be joining a flexible and collaborative small team where everyone’s voice matters, and you can directly influence our products and customer solutions. At Acconeer, we have an open and supportive culture. Problems and solutions are openly discussed, ideas are welcomed, and you’ll always have a team to support and cheer you on.

Are you into signal processing, Python, embedded systems and maybe even some radio and communication? Our System and algorithm team works across the entire product lifecycle from early system studies to final quality assurance, deep in exploring, designing, and optimizing our pride – the Acconeer pulsed coherent radar system. We are seeking an experienced engineer to join us in creating innovative processing methods and algorithms for our radar chipsets. You don’t need to tick every box – if you’re excited about radar technology and want to grow in this field, we’d love to hear from you.

We are looking for…

a candidate with an eager and curious mindset, openness for continuous learning, good communication skills and a good technical foundation:

  • Preferably a PhD or an MSc plus relevant work experience.
  • Deep expertise in time series analysis, signal processing methods, modelling, and simulations.
  • Proven knowledge of machine learning for constrained systems.

To develop optimized algorithms and solutions, experience with electrical circuits and systems and C programming is beneficial. Radar specific expertise is a great plus, as is radio propagation aspects and experience with mmWave beamforming or similar processing.

In this role, You will:

  • Develop radar data processing solutions through modelling, prototyping, data exploration, implementation, and validation.
  • Drive architectural algorithm decisions and stay current with related research topics to continuously introduce new techniques and push boundaries.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams and customers
  • Participate in publicly funded research projects where Acconeer explores new grounds with universities and partners.
