Based on this vision, the “Toilet” was made. Using the XE132 and the exploration tool from Acconeer, the toilet is able to reach new technology heights to further expand the user experience.
Less energy consumption for less environmental impact
With organic glass the toilet keeps it beauty, but what’s most impressive is the technology behind it. The Acconeer radar sensor detects the user’s position and triggers the toilet to flush and clean.
With millimeter precision and robustness against soap, dust and other biproducts the measurements, accuracy will always be on point and with the sensor’s ability to detect motion, however small, it offers superior user experience and achieves far better water waste management than other toilets. The result; thousands of gallons of now unused water during its lifespan, that would in other cases be wasted.

A global collaboration
Acconeer’s local engineers supported Panasonic trough out the whole journey. Acconeer Sweden, Acconeer Japan, and distributors partners held talks and meetings from start to finish, every week. Thanks to this, Panasonic were able to solve problems and cleared doubts whenever one occurred.
