Acconeer sensor solutions for train detection in South Korea
Mago Technology’s new product, the RA Series, now sees Acconeer’s Pulsed Coherent Radar solution being used to detect trains in South Korea. Train tracks and train stations are environments that present both danger as well as unpredicted weather, making ultrasonic and magnetic sensors obsolete. With the small footprint of the Acconeer radar, integrating the sensor is easy and installation just takes ten minutes.
Counting system for packaged objects using A121 radar sensor
At Sejong University in Seoul, research was conducted using XE121 board featuring Acconeer’s A121 PCR sensor. In the paper, a system is proposed that achieves 99.33% counting accuracy of packed objects by removing background noise of radio frequency measured by 60GHz pulsed coherent radar.
