New in Innovation Lab – University of Bath: Robot mapping and navigation in low-visibility conditions

The University of Bath in the United Kingdom carried out research using Acconeer’s A111 and A121 radar sensors. The project aimed to determine the feasibility of using the radar sensors for navigation and mapping. It is concluded that the A121 sensors performed well at high correlation values, and it can be used to provide accurate distance estimates in 1 dimension.
